Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab with 2+ years of experience and required imaging and cardiovascular credentials.

Details

Cardiac Cath Lab unit setting
13-week assignment
Shift hours are 0645-1700 or 0700-1730

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
BLS certification required (AHA) within 30 days of start
ACLS certification required (AHA)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI required within 180 days of start
Cardiographic Tech (CCT) credential from CCI required prior to start
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credential required prior to start
Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
License required if applicable
Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment

Additional Information

Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures
Prepare and position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice
Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal activity
Follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
First-time travelers may be considered
