Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) RN for a hospital Endoscopy department, requiring an active MA RN license and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Work in the Endoscopy department performing Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) duties
- Monday through Friday day shift schedule
- No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- CPR certification through the AHA required
- Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency tests with an 85% score prior to starting assignment, with only one attempt allowed
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, preoperative assessments and documentation, reviewing medical histories, coordinating pre-surgical requirements, and tracking patients through the pre-admission process
- Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Biweekly orientation provided
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any facility within the health system
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
