Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3-5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience and ARRT/ARDMS breast ultrasound certification.
Details
- Work in the Mammography/Breast Imaging unit
- 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Perform screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, and mammography-guided procedures
- Unit equipped with 5 machines including Hologic Selenia Dimensions systems, Hologic 3D systems, and Hologic Affirm system
- Breast ultrasound equipment includes Philips IU22 and GE Pristina
- Uses McKesson PACS image archive system and EPIC EMR
Requirements
- ARRT and MA mammography certification required
- ARRT/ARDMS breast ultrasound or breast sonography certification required
- BLS-AHA certification required
- 3-5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience at an imaging center required
- 1 year experience using McKesson PACS required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy strongly preferred
- MA license required if applicable
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands
Additional Information
- Must demonstrate ability to seek supervisory or managerial assistance as appropriate
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
