Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU Coronary night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and ACLS/NIHSS certification.
Details
- Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic for clinical documentation
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO state or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, must not expire prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
