Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Coronary Care position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required, with no pending license accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required through AHA, and must not expire prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/specialty experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while monitoring treatment plans and documenting according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy directly to patients or through consultation and supervision of others
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screening results using a specific required vendor
