Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract requiring IA or compact licensure and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
Details
- ICU setting caring for cardiac, trauma, and neuro patient populations
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Every third weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (IA or Compact)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (AHA)
- TNCC preferred; required if contract is extended
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Contribute professional clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited to one day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
