Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an Oregon RN license and 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
- 12-hour night shift schedule with 36 hours per week
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
- On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
Requirements
- Active or willing to obtain Oregon RN license
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
- Apply the nursing process to patient care within RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Teach patients and significant others as part of care delivery
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
