Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring high-risk and circulating experience at a high-volume delivery center.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- High-risk and high-acuity obstetric patient population
- Circulating duties required
- Facility handles 200-300 deliveries per month
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
- Required to work every third weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR, with Epic Stork experience preferred
Requirements
- Active IA RN license or compact license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Circulating experience required
- Experience within the past year at a large, high-volume delivery center (200-300 deliveries/month) required
- High acuity experience required
- Multiple completed travel contracts preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- AWHONN certification for fetal monitoring required
- NRP certification required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team providing patient care
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license
- Holiday coverage required, working 2 of 3 designated winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
- Limited to one day off request during the November and December holiday blackout periods
- Past UnityPoint Health employees, whether FTE or PRN float pool, may be restricted from travel assignments in other markets within 12 months of separation
- A supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 24 months is preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered
