Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Stroke Unit night shift position requiring NIHSS certification and stroke care experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit (2S Stroke Unit) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration

Requirements

• Active FL state or multistate RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Stroke unit experience required
• AHCA certification required for all FL travelers
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide medical surgical nursing care within a stroke care unit
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
