Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab unit requiring competency in acute care, ortho/trauma, and stroke rehabilitation.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation setting with floating to outpatient as needed
- Primary assignment on the inpatient rehab unit
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Caseload of 8-10 patients per 8-hour day
- Solo OT coverage required during weekends
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida or compact license required if applicable
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
- Competency/experience in acute care, ortho/trauma, and stroke required
- BLS certification via AHA required
- Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review

- Perform clinical evaluations and establish individualized treatment programs
- Provide a wide variety of treatment procedures for patients with diverse disabilities, injuries, and diseases to maximize functional outcomes
