Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2.5 years of ED experience and Level 1 resuscitation experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting in an acute care hospital with 210 staffed beds
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating required within scope
• Block scheduling accommodated on a case-by-case basis
• Meditech charting system used

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; PALS required; TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 1 year of neuro/stroke experience required
• At least 2 previous travel assignments required
• Experience with Level 1 resuscitation patients required

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility
• No RTO permitted during the first or last week of the assignment
• Holiday coverage required based on number of holidays falling within the contract, including working at least one eve (12/24 or 12/31) and additional holidays as specified
• Any scrub color accepted, but tee shirts, sweatshirts, and logos from other organizations are not permitted
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• 3 call-outs during the assignment will result in termination
