Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Telemetry position requiring recent Epic experience and MD or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele/IMC float pool position within a hospital setting
• Traveler will float between Med/Surg units and IMC units
• Patient ratios of 1:4-1:6
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 18:30-07:00
• Cares for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a hospital setting required
• Minimum 2 years of IMC unit experience in a hospital setting required
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu shot required with no exceptions
• 2-step PPD test required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to acutely ill Med/Surg Tele and IMC patients
• Float between Med/Surg and IMC units as needed
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Local candidates will not be considered for this role
• Candidates with prior employment at this facility may be subject to additional restrictions
