Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a MO or compact RN license and prior critical care experience.

Details

• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting within an acute care hospital
• Combination of PCU and ICU patient care with a cardiac-heavy caseload including vasoactive drips and rhythm monitoring
• PCU is a designated stroke unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in PCU, with lower ratios in ICU
• Uses MEDITECH EMR; prior experience highly preferred
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• First to float to all units within the hospital
• Low census cancellation policy of 1 shift per 4 weeks; OT shifts may be cancelled at will

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Knowledge of vasoactive drips and cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred
• MEDITECH EMR experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across combined ICU and PCU patient populations
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue
