Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care Med/Surg unit with 39 beds, including 24 Med/Surg-tele beds
• Patient population includes non-acute cardiac cases such as pacemaker monitoring and potassium level management
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses MEDITECH charting system and McKesson medication system
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with some weekend requirements
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• First priority for floating to other Med/Surg units within scope of practice

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• MEDITECH charting experience highly preferred
• Basic telemetry experience a plus but not required
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with some telemetry monitoring responsibilities
• Royal blue scrubs required, not provided by facility
• Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week period
• Housing may be limited due to peak tourism season through Labor Day
