Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for Labor & Delivery on night shift requiring NRP, BLS, and prior L&D experience.

Details

• LDRP unit with 10 LDR rooms, 3 triage bays, and 2 OR suites
• Unit staffed with approximately 30 RNs including charge, LDR, and nursery roles on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratio of 2 laboring patients to 1 RN
• Performs procedures including inductions, C-sections, and SVDs
• Uses GE fetal monitoring, Novii wireless monitoring, Spectrum IV pumps, and CADD epidural PCA equipment
• Utilizes Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required, Advanced 9th Edition
• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required for L&D placement
• ACLS certification preferred
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent L&D specialty experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
