Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Rehabilitation Unit night shift position requiring acute care nursing experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Rehabilitation unit within a 95-licensed-bed hospital, located on the 2nd floor
• 10-bed unit with a patient ratio of 5:1
• Adult and geriatric patient population including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with weekend nights defined as Fri/Sat
• Occasional floating to Med/Surg as needed by the hospital
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Omnicell equipment and Meditech EHR

Requirements

• Active RN license (WA state or compact) required
• 1-2+ years of acute care nursing experience required
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Rehabilitation experience, including GG scoring documentation, preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to a rehabilitation population including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury patients
• Team-oriented environment valuing collaboration and teamwork
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
