Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on a 28-bed unit with no experience required.

Details

• 28-bed Medical Surgical unit caring for a diverse adult patient population (18+)
• RN to patient ratio of 5-6:1
• 3x12 night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• 36 hours per week, 0.9 FTE

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education
• Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measure initiatives
