Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position focused on pediatric high-risk infants, with flexible daytime scheduling and no weekend requirements.

Details

  • Home health setting covering Richmond, South Katy, Fulshear, and Fort Bend County territories
  • Pediatric caseload including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and high-risk infants/NICU follow-up
  • Average of 6-7 patients per day with 25-26 visits per week
  • Day shift with flexible scheduling between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Statewise EMR used for charting
  • Mileage reimbursement provided

Requirements

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
  • Relevant certifications required for license
  • CPR certification preferred but not required
  • No minimum years of experience required

Additional Information

  • Perform comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized tests to determine treatment needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders
  • Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers
  • Collaborate with other providers and disciplines as part of the patient's care team
  • Complete required weekly visit minimums and timely documentation including progress notes and call logs
  • Adhere to all applicable home health pediatric occupational therapy regulations and standards
  • Dress code includes scrubs or casual attire such as t-shirts, jeans, or pants with closed-toed shoes
  • First-time travelers accepted
