Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Emergency Dept RN for a fast-paced rural ED requiring 1-2 years of ER experience and ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.

Details

• Fast-paced rural Emergency Department setting with 23 beds
• Patient ratio possibly 4-5:1
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Starke Hospital ED
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Block scheduling not available

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• De-Escalation Training required
• 1-2 years of ER experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday blackout dates dependent on facility need
• Maximum RTO of 0, with any RTO requests limited to less than 1 week
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
