Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and RDCS-RVT certification for a general/vascular ultrasound position.

Details

• General and vascular ultrasound unit
• Day shift 4x10 hours, either 7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
• Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday schedule
• Includes call responsibilities
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite equipment along with PACS system
• Performs vascular studies including aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts, Doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial and venous studies, and stent evaluations

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• CCI RVS certification required
• RDCS-RVT certification required
• Valid compact state license required in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Any charting system experience accepted

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel candidate
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Local radius rule of 50 miles applies
