Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with CA licensure and cardiac scrub/circulate experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Operating Room setting supporting cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule with variable 10-hour shifts (7a, 9a, 11a, 1p starts)
- Rotating weekends required
- Overtime support may be needed
- Any charting system experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room scrub and circulate experience required
- Cardiac surgery experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required
Additional Information
- Provides direct and indirect patient care using comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, care planning, and education
- Delivers individualized, holistic care and coordinates interdisciplinary care plans
- Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Local candidates accepted at local rate
- 50-mile radius rule applies
- Returning staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Only 1 holiday RTO request approved per contract; holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
