Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2 years of acute care experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Work in the PACU/PreOp unit of a hospital setting
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3 days per week
Call responsibilities required one night per week and weekends
Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
PACU RN experience required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate clinical responses
Provide patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
Mentor and precept staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
