Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Progressive Care Unit on night shift, requiring BLS and ACLS certification.

Details

• 32-bed Progressive Care Unit with semi-private rooms
• Nurse to patient ratio of 4-5:1
• All patients require continuous telemetry heart monitoring
• Mixed-acuity population ranging from medical-surgical transfers to ICU step-down patients
• Cares for patients requiring active cardiac drip titration and continuous BiPAP monitoring
• Does not care for acute stroke patients
• Night shift schedule at 0.9 FTE
• 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and month/day of date of birth for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination through admission, transfer, and discharge
• Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility, though local candidates are accepted at a lower pay rate
