Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and a CA RN license in hand.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Epic EMR used
• Floating between sister facilities within the state may be required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license (Compact accepted) must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• NRP certification preferred
• Skills in medication administration, continuous IV sedation, triage, and telemetry
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and triage required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront for consideration
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration at a lower bill rate
• Former Providence permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period and must live outside 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or per-diem
