Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 5+ years of experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level 2 trauma facility.
Details
- Acute care setting at a Level 2 trauma facility
- Single MRI suite performing procedures for adult and pediatric patients
- Uses Philips Ingenia 1.5 MRI, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, and FUJI PACS
- Charts in EPIC
- Evening shift schedule, Tuesday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- May work independently at times with occasional on-call requirements
- No floating to other units required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of MRI Technologist experience
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Ability to independently apply MRI scanning protocols for diagnostic imaging
- Skilled in patient and object screening for magnet room safety
Additional Information
- Perform MRI procedures per radiologist-established protocols with minimal supervision
- Assume responsibility for designated area and procedures performed
- Black scrub dress code required
- COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemption process available
- Radius requirement of 50 miles from the facility for eligibility as a traveler
- Previous perm employees and travelers must have a 2-year break before returning
- Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
