Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong ENT and neuro surgical experience for a 13-week PM shift assignment.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• PM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week (11a-11p)
• No set or blocked call schedules; weekend shifts assigned via alphabetical rotation and may be days or nights
• Department requires 4-6 late/call shifts per 6-week schedule, including 1-2 lates per week, one overnight call (11p-7a), and up to 24 hours of weekend call
• Coverage required for one major and two minor holidays (day or night shift)
• May be required to perform Charge RN duties on off shifts (nights, weekends, and/or holidays)
• No on-call requirement outside of the described late/call rotation

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of Operating Room experience required
• Strong ENT and neuro surgical experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and scrub RN duties within the OR setting
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Maximum of 1 week of vacation/RTO considered within a single contract
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
