Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a rotating night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience operating MRI scanners.
Details
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging department with rotating shifts
- Overnight shift scheduled from 18:30 to 07:00
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Operate MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images and select accurate anatomic and technical parameters
- Prepare and position patients and provide patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to exams
- Enter and monitor patient data and transfer images to PACS ensuring high image quality and correct markers
- Follow radiation safety procedures and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms
- Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
- First-time travelers may be considered
