Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Swing Bed unit requiring 2+ years of experience and a compact or OK RN license.

Details

• Skilled Care/Swing Bed unit providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapies to patients transitioning from acute care to home or long-term care
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Implement and monitor patient care plans while communicating patient condition to the care team
• Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders and assist with discharge planning
• Follow standard precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment
• Radius rules apply and may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Local candidates accepted, though at a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
