Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a Level III NICU seasonal travel assignment requiring current NICU experience and BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Details

  • Respiratory Care Department serving Level III NICU patients
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • 13-week seasonal travel assignment
  • Uses specialized equipment including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 ventilators
  • Meditech EMR system used for charting

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of current NICU RRT experience
  • Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience
  • Level III NICU experience required
  • Pediatric experience required
  • NBRC Certification required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Critical care and PICU experience preferred
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management, and ED support
  • Strong communication skills with staff and providers valued
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
