Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position with orthopedic patient care experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a Medical Surgical Combination unit specializing in orthopedics
• 18-bed unit serving patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, as needed
• On-call requirements as needed
• Float requirements to Rehab and ICU
• Uses Medhost Clinician Experience EHR

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience required
• Experience caring for orthopedic patients required
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

Additional Information

• Facility is a 99-bed acute care hospital and accredited chest pain center
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted
• Must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
