Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a Level 1 trauma center on night shift, requiring current RRT experience and NBRC certification.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy Unit within a large 760-bed hospital with 95 RT staff
• 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage with Level 1 trauma designation
• 15-bed PICU and Level 3 NICU, with adult ECMO capability
• Equipment includes V800 Draeger ventilators, C1 Hamilton ventilators, and Airvo for HHFNC therapy
• Documents patient care using Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current RRT experience
• NBRC certification required
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Pediatric/PICU experience preferred
• Strong ICU experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required (2 for FL and MO, 1 for all other states)

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care treatments and ventilator management, both invasive and noninvasive
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced critical care environment
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
