Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC certification and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital-based emergency center
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current TNCC certification required for ER placement
• Current NIH Stroke Certification required
• CPI certification required for ER units (or facility-approved equivalent such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the ER specialty
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Local candidates are not accepted
