Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on nights, requiring L&D experience and a Missouri or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Birthing Center unit specializing in LDRP care
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift, 3x12 schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend and call requirements as needed by the facility
• Mandatory floating as needed to other units
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required November 1 through April 1
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for laboring and postpartum patients as part of a patient-focused, flexible team
• Black scrubs required
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for candidates living within 50 miles of the facility
• Subcontractor staff living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
