Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Albany, NY.

Details

• Operating Room department in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation of 1 in 3
• Rotating holiday coverage
• Possible on-call requirement

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room specialty required
• Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgical experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccine declination (no personal or religious exemptions)

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible if located in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Call-outs limited to 3 within a 13-week period; make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of last call-out
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
