Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room for a day shift travel position requiring strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience.

• Operating Room department at a major medical center
• 13-week assignment with day shift hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Possible on-call requirement
• Weekend rotation of 1 in 3
• Rotating holiday coverage

Requirements

• Active NYS RN license required
• 2 years of recent OR specialty experience required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Medical exemptions only accepted for flu vaccine declinations

Additional Information

• Perform surgical procedures across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible for this position
• More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
