Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN with telemetry and IV experience for a night shift position requiring every-other-weekend availability.
Details
- Medicine unit within a hospital setting
- 38-bed unit caring for cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and substance abuse patients, as well as medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders
- RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends
- PCT-to-patient ratio of 1:10
- 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
- Telemetry Med/Surg unit experience required
- IV skills required
- Comparable facility size experience required
Additional Information
- Provide care to patients with complex medical and psychiatric comorbidities on a telemetry-monitored medicine unit
- Holiday coverage required on an every-other and as-needed basis
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
