Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Certifications must be active and in hand, not pending

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation with an acceptable score
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
