Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day-shift Monday-Friday assignment, requiring active TX or compact RN licensure and recent OR experience.

Details

Work in the Surgery/OR unit of a hospital setting
Monday-Friday schedule, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
13-week assignment length

Requirements

Active RN license (TX or compact)
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within first 30 days of start)
Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted

2:1, 1:1 if pt is in active labor they try to follow awhonn standards when possible. Flexible with schedule will do block schedule.

Cons

Only thing they will float travelers to antepartum or assign pp pts on hold in L&D unit more frequently instead of rotating the nurses.
