Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room role requiring circulating experience in GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases with a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room unit with 9 OR beds
- Circulating RN role for GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases
- Day shift schedule with weekend rotation required (Saturday or Sunday)
- Shift options include 6:30a-5p, with possible 2x12 and 2x8 hour combinations
- Night coverage handled by on-call staff
- On-call duties may be required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
- Circulating experience in GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases required
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide circulating RN support for general, gynecological, urological, and pediatric surgical cases
- Scrub color for the unit is burgundy, with RNs wearing royal blue
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
