Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room role requiring circulating experience in GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases with a TX or compact RN license.

Details

  • Hospital-based Operating Room unit with 9 OR beds
  • Circulating RN role for GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases
  • Day shift schedule with weekend rotation required (Saturday or Sunday)
  • Shift options include 6:30a-5p, with possible 2x12 and 2x8 hour combinations
  • Night coverage handled by on-call staff
  • On-call duties may be required

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
  • Circulating experience in GEN/GYN/GU/Pedi open and laparoscopic cases required
  • Robotic surgery experience preferred
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required
  • No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide circulating RN support for general, gynecological, urological, and pediatric surgical cases
  • Scrub color for the unit is burgundy, with RNs wearing royal blue
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
