Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a Med/Surg unit, requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of recent experience.
Details
- Med/Surg-Oncology unit focused on lung, hematology, and oncology patient populations
- 13-week travel assignment with an AM shift schedule at 8 hours per shift
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience required
- Skills self-assessment required for trach care, NG tube insertion, IV insulin protocols, peritoneal dialysis, and central line/implanted line care
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to oncology, hematology, and lung patients in a Med/Surg setting
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
- Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time
