American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing facility, requiring an active state license and at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Must be currently active in the state
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting experience preferred
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and adaptive equipment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, and functional abilities
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, safe movement techniques, and home modifications
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
