Description

American Traveler is hiring a NICU RN for a Special Care Nursery position requiring Level 1B experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Special Care Nursery unit of a hospital setting
• Cares for underweight babies, premature births, and patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights
• 36 hours per week
• Must be willing to work both day and night shifts within the rotation
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Level 1B special care nursery experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months to be considered

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to premature and underweight infants requiring cardiac monitoring and close observation
• Required vaccines include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
