Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Trauma Level 3 facility, requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and current ACLS and PALS certification.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 5-6 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Patient population includes all ages
• Standard patient care equipment including vital signs monitors, airway equipment, and IV pumps
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirements include a minimum of 12 days per month, to be discussed with the director
• May float to the pre-op holding room area

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Current ACLS and PALS certification required
• RN license required if applicable
• Nursys or active licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• 170-bed facility that is Joint Commission Accredited with an Accredited Chest Pain Center and AHA Stroke Program Award
• Scrubs provided
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
