Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Operating Room setting with 7 OR rooms within a Level III trauma facility
• RN Circulator role supporting General, GYN, Vascular, Orthopaedic, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic surgical specialties
• Serves patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required with potential for additional coverage/call
• Call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• Interdepartmental floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (WV or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
• Must have experience circulating in General, GYN, Vascular, Orthopaedic, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic surgeries
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility performs a wide range of surgical services including spine, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, and trauma/emergency surgical services
• Scrubs supplied by facility; casual wear and other facility-branded attire not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
• Professional demeanor expected in this role
