Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an 11-week night shift assignment requiring an active WV or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical Combination unit within an acute care hospital setting
- 11-week assignment with a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shift schedule
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Hospital offers a wide range of surgical services including robotic, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, cardiology, and trauma/emergency care
Requirements
- Active WV or Compact RN license required
- AHA certifications required
- 1+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Active licensure verification via Nursys required at time of consideration
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Facility is Joint Commission accredited and serves a high patient volume including a busy emergency room
- Offers instructional programs for nursing students and allied health externs
- Biweekly orientation held on Wednesdays
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
