Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position with weekend and holiday rotation, open to candidates with no prior experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit with 28 beds and an RN-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1
• Cares for a diverse patient population aged 18 and up
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 7p-7a
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• BLS certification required; ACLS also required per department compliance
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination through admission, transfer, and discharge
• Collaborates with an interprofessional care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Delegates and oversees care tasks performed by other team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction, falls prevention, and documentation audits
• Facilitates patient and family education and discharge planning
