Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technician with 1-3 years of experience and current ARRT and NJ state licensure for a Radiology department assignment.
Details
- Radiology department setting in a hospital
- AM shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
- Includes every other weekend (EOW) coverage
- One on-call shift required every 3 weeks
- May float to a sister hospital as needed
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography School
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- NJ State RT license required (license required if applicable)
- Knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Current knowledge of clinical practice trends, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology advances
- Strong problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional Information
- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain equipment and assess patient safety, comfort, and procedure needs
- Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and revisions as needed
- Accepts local candidates
