Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with 2+ years of experience and at least one completed travel contract for a 13-week assignment in Sioux City, IA.
Details
- General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients requiring overnight stays
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license, Iowa or compact license required
- Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
- At least 1 completed travel contract required
- Epic experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Work history/resume and completed skills checklist (within 1 year) required for consideration
- License verification and copies of certifications required for consideration
- One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide professional/clinical care to post-op patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Not eligible if employed by the facility's health system within the last 12 months
- Holiday coverage required, including 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Limited time-off requests permitted during late November and the winter holiday period
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
