Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/PCU Days position requiring a minimum of 3 years' experience and an active WA or compact RN license.

Details

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• Med/Surg Adult and PCU/Telemetry units
• Day shift schedule
• Must be willing to flex between departments as needed

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years' RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be experienced in all areas of Med-Surg and PCU/Telemetry

Additional Information

• Provide patient and family education using appropriate teaching modalities
• Implement patient safety measures and follow restraint policies correctly
• Demonstrate safe operation and troubleshooting of PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg equipment
• Follow infection control and isolation procedures using standard precautions
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and responses
• Complete physician orders and 24-hour order checks in a timely manner
• Give complete and accurate shift reports and interdepartmental communication
• Report critical lab values to physicians per policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts and general supplies
