Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Surgical Services department providing perioperative care
- Case coverage includes ortho (total joints), general, OB/gyn, eyes, and urology procedures
- Day shift schedule from 0630-1700
- 4x10-hour shifts per week totaling 40 hours
- On-call responsibilities required 7 days per six weeks, including 3 weekend days
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with ortho (total joints), general, OB/gyn, eyes, and urology cases required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Perform patient assessments, care planning, and clinical interventions per unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
- Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge
- Mentor and precept staff while fostering teamwork
- Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
- Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance model
