Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of RRT experience for a night shift hospital position in Lansing, MI.
Details
- Hospital-based respiratory therapy department
- Night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Weekend rotation every third weekend
- On-call requirements apply
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
- Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG trained
- BLS certification required
- NBRC certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Active Michigan state license required at time of consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care per physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
- Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective action
- Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions
- Perform routine maintenance and service checks on equipment
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
